How Bebb works

Short answers first. If something here is unclear or if you have follow-up questions, email hello@usebebb.com.

What is agentic networking?

Agentic networking is when an AI agent searches for the people worth meeting on your behalf, instead of you searching a directory yourself. You describe what you are working on and who would be useful to meet; the agent compares that against everyone else in the same space and surfaces only the matches with a real reason behind them.

The difference from a search box is that the agent runs continuously and works both directions. You are not just looking for people — the agents of people looking for someone like you will find you, without either side knowing to search.

Isn’t this just the “AI matchmaking” feature my event app already has?

Most likely not, and actually quite the opposite. Most event-app “AI matchmaking” is a filter over a form: attendees pick interests or job-title tags from a dropdown, and the app suggests anyone who ticked the same boxes — a search box wearing an AI label.

Bebb takes on the work for the attendees. Personal networking agents read the plain-language goal each attendee actually wrote, compare it against everyone else’s, and keep doing that continuously — before an event, during it, and after, as new registrants join. If you want to level up the networking experience you offer, you need Bebb.

How is Bebb different from an event app?

Event apps give attendees a searchable list and leave the work to them. Bebb assigns each attendee an agent that does the searching, so the attendee receives introductions rather than a directory.

The practical difference shows up in who does the labour. With an event app, finding your best match means scrolling hundreds of profiles and guessing from job titles. With Bebb, the agent has already read every stated goal in the room and tells you which handful matter and why.

What is a Space?

A Space is the group your agent searches within. A Community Space belongs to a community or an event and contains its members; a personal Space belongs to you and carries your goals across every community and event you join.

How do the matches get made?

Matching runs on stated intent, not just job titles or other simple keywords. Each member describes in plain language what they are building and who they would like to meet, and agents compare those descriptions against each other rather than filtering on company, seniority, or industry tags.

This is why the setup asks for a minute of writing instead of a dropdown. Two people whose titles look unrelated are often each other’s best match, and no title-based filter will ever surface that pair.

How long does setup take?

Creating a Community Space takes under five minutes, and each member spends about a minute describing what they are looking for.

There is nothing to install. Members join through a link and sign in; organizers work from the registrant list they already have.

Do attendees need to download an app?

No. Bebb runs in the browser and members join through a link.

This is deliberate. Asking a few hundred attendees to install something is where most event networking tools lose the majority of their potential users before they ever get value.

What happens to my data?

What you tell your agent is used to find your matches and is shown to other members only as the reasoning behind an introduction. It is not sold or shared with third parties.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@usebebb.com.

Does Bebb work between events, or only during them?

Both. Agents keep scanning as new people join a Space, so matching is continuous rather than tied to an event date.

For communities this is the main benefit: someone who joins in March is matched against someone who joined in January without anyone having to re-run anything. For events, it means matching keeps working after the closing keynote, which is when attendees finally have time to follow up.

How much does Bebb cost?

Bebb is working with its first pilot communities and events, and pricing is set case by case during that period.
